Recently renovated, the food centre now offers a cleaner, more comfortable dining environment while retaining the old-school homely charm that regulars love. Among the standout stalls are Cai for its zi char dishes, Xie Jia Chinese Prata for flaky, freshly made prata, Fei Fei Roasted Noodle for its namesake, We Porridge for comforting bowls, and Amma's Appom for its unique South Indian appam. The variety is impressive for a neighbourhood hawker centre, and prices remain firmly in the affordable range. For a taste of genuine neighbourhood hawker culture in the Jurong East area, Yuhua Village Market and Food Centre is a rewarding find.
