Ma Maison is one of my go-to spots when I’m craving a good tonkatsu fix. One of the things I really appreciate is the free flow of lettuce, miso soup, and rice — it makes the meal feel extra satisfying, especially if you’re feeling hungry. The tonkatsu itself is well done — the batter is fluffy and crispy, exactly how it should be, and the meat inside stays juicy and tender. It’s not the very best tonkatsu I’ve ever had, but for the price point, it’s really decent value. Overall, this is a solid place for a satisfying tonkatsu meal, especially if you enjoy the little extras that make you feel like you’re getting your money’s worth.

Not sure why it's taken me so long to write this as I've been going to this restaurant for quite some time... Service is attentive but not entirely friendly. They are very helpful though. …
