Used to be a loyal customer of Spectacle Hut.... well, not anymore. This recent experience was traumatising. Not only did they cheat me, but they prescribed the wrong degree. I suppose the lens brand (Freshkon) not having a good fit (it kept shifting in my eye and is thicker than other brands) isn't their fault. 1. Cheryl charged me $10 more than the promo price. I was wondering about it and went back the following week to check. And the other nice staff helped me to refund that. Oh. And she kept trying to push the more expensive brands. 2. Cheryl was not too nice. She did not want to tell me my contact lens prescription. Telling me that i'll know what it is when i collect the lens. Why so secretive?? 3. She prescribed the wrong degrees for one eye. I could see with a lower degree clearer, and with no halos etc. I had gone to another optical shop to double check on the degrees. 4. I had already changed the lens once cos it kept shifting and was blur as it's colored lens, not clear. The second time i changed was cos of the wrong degree (which wasn't my fault), but i was told that that was the last time the manufacturer would change them. Doesn't seem very fair. All in all, wouldn't recommend this company. Or at least, not this particular outlet.
