Biased staff based on your looks/age First senario where i see more childish (because i am still a young student anyway.) Some do not take me seriously when I seem youthful. When I asked one of the staff to recommend me a suitable lip product for me because I had no experience in makeup, she just said that they had lipstick all over the store and it was up to me to decide which one i wanted. when i explained to her that i wanted something that looked more natural and wasn’t sure on how to select a good one for me, she just told me to try all of them and left without saying another word. all of them?? i was so overstimulated and confused because i looked so awkward trying on a bunch of colours and textures that didnt suit me at all. I was also quite upset because i used up pockets of my free time to shop here when i barely had time. I was too shy to approach the staff again and they seemed too busy This is not my first encounter being unfairly treated as a student 2nd scenario where i seem more mature: When i entered the store in a formal attire after my temporary job, i asked the for the same thing. immediately, she kindly escorted me to a few good products and even taught me how to apply them correctly and in order I am super thankful of friendly and helpful staff. I hope that all of them can treat customers fairly despite of appearance.
